The West Shore is very well-equipped with high quality medical centres, including a major hospital nearby, walk-in medical clinics, and pharmacies. To minimize cost, please ensure you have either your BC health card or, if traveling internationally, it is recommended that you have health insurance for your full duration of stay, plus a couple extra days in case of unexpected delays.
